Mojo Ruiz de Luzuriaga, known professionally as Mo'Ju (and previously as Mojo Juju), is of Filipino and Wiradjuru descent. [1]
She is best known for her evocative music film clip for single Native Tongue and the album of the same name. Sh e combines her unique RnB style with impactful lyricism. Native Tongue earned three ARIA nominations for Breakthrough Artist, Best Urban Release and Best Video.
Before her solo success, Mo'Ju was a songwriter and vocalist for noir punk/garage swing band The Snake Oil Merchants. She identifies as a queer black woman.
